MTB Wine and Food Baressa trail [Photo Collection]
Starting by Baressa Village. With beatifull Murales. Paint artworks, in house walls.
Around 300 bikers. Coming from all Sardinia. Different ages, but same passion.
The trail
Trail Trough marmilla beatifull territory. Discovering nature e culture. Tasting traditional food and local wines. Trought little and beatifull villages. Around 33 km. Positive gain almost 500 meters of ascend. Climbs, descend. In a hill territory.
The climb is not always easy. But the panorama worth the sacrifice.
Then funny descend in some rock sections.
In addition, the landscape is pacefull. Is a uncontamined area. So is a real pleasure.
Sini
First of all pit-stop, Sini. Is a little village with around 490 habitants.
Here the first taste break. Some fresh bread. Local Honey and tea.
Turri
Another pit-stop to Turri. In the didactic farm “Su massaiu”.
Tasting two kind of delicious cakes. With almonds and nuts. And White wine.
Tuili
Then is the moment for a brek in Tuili. To taste a delicious Bread. Filled with dry grape. Sweet bread. With some wine. Inside “Domu Sanna”.
Garden, old sardinian house.
Baradili
Finaly the last pit-stop in Baradili Village. Some water and food. Traditional pastry.
Finish
In conclusion we came back to baressa. Where the traditional lunch is served. Local traditiona foods.Probably one of the most waited moment.
